Find the Ghost

You are an expert on paranormal activity and have been hired to locate a ghost in an old resort hotel. Strong signs indicate that the ghost lies behind one of four doors. The inscriptions on each door read as follows:

Door A: It’s behind B or C
Door B: It’s behind A or D
Door C: It’s in here
Door D: It’s not in here

Your psychic powers have told you three of the inscriptions are false, and one is true. Behind which door will you find the ghost?

Vacation Time

It was vacation time -(In fact, it was a time of examinations:D)- , and so I decided to visit my cousin’s home. What a free time we had! In the mornings, we both would go for a jog. The evenings were spent on the tennis court. Tiring as these activities were, we could manage only one per day, i.e., either we went for a jog or played tennis each day. There were days when we felt lazy and stayed home all day long.

Just a Number Again [Answered]

In this problem we have a collection of  differnet answers :D , this is  great :)

check all answers here

and here is The best solution from my point of view

assume the number we want is X(5 digit number)

to add 7 at the left add 700000 to X , then the right hand side become ( X+700000)

to add 7 at the right  multiply X by 10 then add 7 , then the left hand side become  ( 10*X + 7) * 5

X + 700000 = 5 * (10X + 7)

then we can get X very easily to be 14285

The winners now

The First for the first time

Enas Mohey

The Second

Profahmadsaad

The Third

Haytham Alaa

and

  • TeCNoYoTTa
  • Tasniem Seliem
  • Ahmad Farid

  • F.A
  • Amal Hussein

Just a Number Again

Can you find a five digit number which when you append a 7 at the beginning -(left most position)- it generates a new number which is five times larger than when you append a 7 at the end-(right most position)-?
