I just found a number with an interesting property:

When I divide it by 2, the remainder is 1.
When I divide it by 3, the remainder is 1.
When I divide it by 4, the remainder is 1.
When I divide it by 5, the remainder is 1.
When I divide it by 6, the remainder is 1.
When I divide it by 7, the remainder is 1.
When I divide it by 8, the remainder is 1.
When I divide it by 9, the remainder is 1.
When I divide it by 10, the remainder is 1.

But when I divide it by 11, the remainder is 0 .

Can you find it?

You are working in a Bomb Disposal Squad !

and you are stuck in a room with a bomb that will blow up after 10.5 minuits

so you have to defuse it

there is no time counter on it, it just beeps after one minuite from its timer start

and there is a button on the bomb labeled ”Do Not Explode”

but you know that if you pressed the button in the minuite 10.0 ONLY it will not explode, else if you pressed it earlier or later it will explode

all you have got is two very accurate sandglass timers of 4 & 7 minuits and no other devices to calculate the time 

the bomb started counting but till now you didn’t hear the beep

what will you do when you hear the beep to save yourself ?

Well…. a sad story this time

Three ACMers where busted as they returned from the regional Contest without solving a problem 

The Sheriff ordered that they should be imprisoned training till the next Regional :O

but those are students

they have to attend there lectures to continue in their collage studying

So the Dean of their collage talked to the sheriff trying to make him let only one of them go to the lectures and return to explain to his team

The three wanted to go

The sheriff wanted none 

so he managed to be smarter than them

ok let’s start our first Problem as a love story

A man wanted to marry a woman. She agreed to marry him, if and only if he can guess the age of all her 3 daughters. She gave him 2 clues:
1. The product of the age of her daughters is 36
2. The sum of the age of her daughters equals to the address of the house next door

The man made some calculations, went out to find out the address of the house next door, but still could not arrive with the answer. He begged for one more clue. Pitying the man (I think she wanted to marry him too), she gave him one more clue:
3. Her oldest daughter loves strawberry

Instantly, the guy got the answer and they were happily married to each other.

The question: How did he solve it?
